Must haves to be considered: * 7+ years of progressive experience in IT/Digital vendor management, strategic sourcing, or technology procurement * 3+ years of people leadership experience * Proven success leading or operating within a Vendor Management Office (VMO) or similar governance structure * Deep experience negotiating technology contracts across hardware, software, cloud, SaaS, managed services, and professional services CONTRACT TO HIRE; $150,000 MAX CONVERSION (Absolute Max) MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE TO MEQUON, WI 3x/wk Description Our customer is looking for a candidate to come in to join their team and lead The Digital Vendor Management Office Manager. This role is a backfill created after the Vendor Management function moved from Finance into the IT division, prompting a redesigned, more digitally focused job scope. The incoming leader will be responsible for building Charter's Digital Vendor Management Office (DVMO) from the ground up and shaping how the company engages and governs its technology vendors across the full lifecycle. Today, the VMO is highly immature, with processes that are manual, emaildriven, or held as tribal knowledge, resulting in poor visibility and a major disconnect for customers who cannot track their digital requests or orders, and is causing friction between different departments within Charter Manufacturing. This role is critical to establishing enterprise-level governance, improving operational predictability, and delivering measurable value across Charter's digital investments. This is looking to mitigate risk and enhance the customer experience. The role requires three days a week on-site in Mequon, with Mondays and Thursdays being mandatory, and the third day being flexible. There is no flexibility on this 3 day a week requirement.
