Data Science Intern, Viasat Government

We are excited for a summer intern to join our team! You will work with the Viasat Government Product Management team to:

• Develop data pipelines that allow data ingestion and data management
• Draw new insights from network and user equipment data
• Develop dashboards that describe the insights and operationalizes the underlying data
• Collaborate with network engineers, cyber experts, and customer account managers to gain knowledge of customer needs and Viasat capabilities

• Create, track, and refine customer metrics and insights
• Develop data backend functions, data management pipelines, and insights dashboards
• Determine appropriate data models and algorithms to accurately capture experience outcomes and insights

• Strong communication skills to describe complex data and simplify messaging around insights and experiences
• Organizational skills in tracking tasks, prioritizing daily work, and documenting progress
