Responsibilities We are looking for a SENSOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER to join a skilled, highly respected and long-standing team supporting New Capabilities Integration efforts for emerging systems. The successful candidate will support product evaluations, quality studies, new product initializations, and/or product algorithm assessments. Candidate should have a working understanding and practical application of modeling components of the image path to include sensor, detector, atmospheric, and material properties. Familiarity with current systems and products will be necessary to develop, assess, and execute test and verification methodologies. Activities include, but are not limited to:

Experience developing engineering code (e.g. C, Python, Matlab, IDL) to solve hard problems and create processes for repeatable results. BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
