Job Description

What You Will Be Doing

  • Review, analyze, and interpret deposit and account maintenance correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Research and resolve depositrelated questions, exceptions, and problems submitted by both clients and internal partners.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and third parties through phone, email, and workflow tools.
  • Perform account maintenance tasks that may involve regulatory or monetary impact, including payment or research corrections.
  • Process payments, payment exceptions, returned items, and encoding error corrections.
  • Monitor daily operational reports, identify issues, and follow up as needed to maintain workflow accuracy.
  • Disburse funds to appropriate endpoints following established procedures.
  • Handle incoming and returned client correspondence and generate outbound communications related to account servicing.
  • Make routine decisions within established guidelines to resolve processing questions and exceptions.
  • Reconcile designated general ledger accounts.
  • Utilize FIS, FIS Lockbox, IBS, and other internal systems to complete deposit and operational tasks.
  • Maintain and update internal procedure documentation; assist in drafting updates or process changes.
  • Support team operations and occasionally assist in orienting or guiding newer team members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably within deposit operations.
  • Working knowledge of deposit and lending procedures, as well as applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt procedures or tools to meet moderate complexity tasks.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy while working within routine, deadlinedriven processes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills when interacting with clients and internal teams.
  • Comfort working with multiple financial systems and operational applications.
  • Ability to work under general supervision while handling recurring assignments independently.

The pay range for this full-time position is $20.52 - $33.45 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
