A Flagship Leadership Opportunity in a Major Academic Health System
University Hospitals (UH), in affiliation with Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), invites applications and nominations for the position of Director, Obesity Program - a transformative leadership role with the mandate and resources to design one of the nation's most integrated, multidisciplinary obesity care models.

The Director will lead the creation and growth of a system-wide obesity system of excellence that unites clinical care, prevention, education, and research across UH's extensive network - including one of the largest primary care groups in Northeast Ohio and a broad array of specialties such as endocrinology, bariatric surgery, cardiology, gastroenterology, hepatology, orthopedics, and behavioral health.

The Ideal Candidate
We seek an accomplished physician leader with:

  • National visibility and a record of scholarly achievement in obesity medicine or a related field
  • Proven program-building experience, ideally across large health systems
  • The ability to inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams in clinical, academic, and community settings
  • Passion for improving outcomes and access for patients with obesity and metabolic disease
