The Pricing Manager is responsible for leading and scaling the Price Desk function across Worthington Enterprises. This role partners closely with analysts, commercial teams, and business units to develop pricing strategies, manage contract pricing, and integrate newly acquired businesses into standardized pricing and quoting frameworks. The position ensures consistency, accuracy, and profitability across pricing processes while building scalable pricing desks that support growth and acquisition integration.

This role is a hybrid position spending 4 days/week on-site. Hybrid schedule subject to change based on business need.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead customer pricing discussions with cross-functional stakeholders, reviewing customer-level profitability, competitive dynamics, and cost drivers
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies in partnership with business units and commercial teams
  • Own and continuously improve pricing and quoting processes, tools, and governance
  • Design, launch, and integrate pricing desks for newly acquired or expanding businesses, including process standardization and tool deployment
  • Leverage analytics and pricing tools to drive margin improvement, profitability, and market share growth
  • Supervise and develop pricing analysts through coaching, training, and performance management
  • Partner with leadership teams to support growth initiatives across products and business units
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support pricing and commercial excellence initiatives


Qualifications

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in commercial pricing, finance, or a related field


Technical & Professional Skills



  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong working knowledge of Word
  • Experience with analytics and visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
  • Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Solid understanding of financial metrics and their business impact
  • Ability to design and implement repeatable pricing playbooks and frameworks
  • Proven ability to make independent, data-driven decisions
