About The Role

As an intern you will gain valuable work experience in a professional environment. Our interns play an essential role in the departments they are part of, working on special projects, and networking with our teams.This position will provide an opportunity to work closely with our Marketing Manager and Business Operations Coordinator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including special projects as assigned projects related to Marketing, including performing research, compiling data, and making recommendations.
  • Works under general supervision, performs routine duties related to and preparing, and assembling documentations.
  • Support the marketing team.
  • Assist in the creation of signage, mockups, and social media content.
  • Assist in planning and hosting marketing events.
  • Interpersonal skills to meet and deal effectively with the banks in a courteous manner responding to a variety of situations with professional discretions.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication to maintain quality customer service in all aspects of the position.
  • Has open communication with supervisor through sharing and accepting suggestions and ideas.
  • Adjustment to change is made as necessary while maintaining a positive attitude.

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in a Montana College/University.
  • Be pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Marketing.
  • Desire to pursue a career in Community Banking.
  • Experience with marketing computer software, online applications, VRM analytics, and Google AdWords.
  • A high degree of reliability and dependability used to follow-through and meet commitments and agreements in a timely manner.
  • Exhibits excellent responsiveness and follow-up in assuming responsibility for and delivering on commitments.
  • Demonstrated high level of quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be a highly motivated self-starter with intense focus on results and winning.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Internship will begin in May and end potentially in December, dependent on school schedule.

Expected workdays are Monday through Friday at 17 hours per week. Flexibility of working hours will be available.

Evaluation methods will include communication with supervisor and lenders. Students requesting credit for internship will be required to submit periodic and final reports summarizing their experience and knowledge gained through the internship.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
