The
Equipment Solutions Advisor will assist the Equipment Solutions team with the management of conditional monitoring, problem solutions, and service marketing programs as needed by the company personnel and customers.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of condition monitoring weekly, monthly and quarterly customer reports.
- Assist in designing and implementing the processes to provide the proper data aggregation, correlation and recommendations to drive measurable incremental service work.
- Follow-up and communicate with customers on issues identified as incremental revenue opportunity.These could be from telematics, inspections, condition monitoring activities, oil sampling, or site conditions.
- Accurately capturing and reporting incremental revenue opportunities with win-loss records.
- Effectively assist the Equipment Solutions team in managing equipment enrolled under Fleet Services Contracts and Total Maintenance and Repair Contracts.
- Monitor scheduled and unscheduled downtime and fleet availability, repair and maintenance plans and assist in machine performance reviews with Caterpillar Job Site Solutions for machines enrolled in Total Maintenance and Repair agreements, and Customer Value Agreements.
- Monitor customer PM schedule and provide guidance to the service department to drive PM On-Time performance.
- Monitor customer equipment telematics and provide guidance to maintain consistent connectivity to perform PM's, troubleshooting, and service work.
- Manage customer Scheduled Oil Sample (SOS) account information and access and assist with any issues.
- Ensure proprietary protections on confidential material.
- Assist with, conduct, or implement training when needed.
- Organize and administer condition monitoring information for distribution to those in need.
- Identify performance, process, and other expense problems and resolve.
- Negotiate internally with others to help ensure dealership services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Help resolve escalated customer issues.
- Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations.

- Able to think and act strategically.
- Capable of teaching new skills and knowledge.
- Associate degree preferred, at least three years of related experience, or a combination of both.
