Join Ecolab as aDirector of Product Management, Liquid Cooling Equipment Data Center within our Nalco division supportingthe Global High Tech (GHT) segment.

Ecolab is expanding its leadership in sustainable cooling and water efficiency technologies to serve the rapidly growing data center industry. As the Director of Product Management, Liquid Cooling Equipment Data Center, you will lead the strategic growth and product roadmap for critical liquid cooling infrastructure-including coolant distribution units (CDUs), Rack & Blade Carts, TCS Loop Skids, heat exchangers, and associated control systems.

This role combines deep technical understanding with market insight to accelerate Ecolab's impact on energy efficiency, water reuse, and operational reliability in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. You will collaborate with R&D, sales, supply chain, sustainability, and partner OEMs to design and scale high-performance cooling solutions that align with Ecolab's commitment to ESG leadership and customer outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Product Strategy & Vision Execution: Execute on the global product strategy for Coolant Distribution Units & other CaaS supporting Equipment tailored to hyperscale, enterprise, and Colo data centers. Provide insights to the Strategy & P&L team on future product roadmap.
  • Portfolio Leadership: Own the full lifecycle of the product line-from concept to commercialization-ensuring alignment with evolving customer needs and market trends.
  • Market Intelligence: Lead competitive analysis, voice-of-customer initiatives, and emerging technology scans to inform product decisions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to deliver high-performance equipment solutions on time and within budget. Provide systems Engineering insights to develop a competitive Product offering in Liquid Cooled Data Centers.
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the product evangelist with strategic customers, data center operators, OEMs, and hyperscalers.
  • Support and develop partner relationship within Ecolab and Data Center ecosystem
  • Financial Accountability: Own Product Launch and Margin responsibility for the CaaS Equipment portfolio driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term profitability
  • Innovation Leadership: Identify and prioritize feature development and platform opportunities that improve thermal performance, energy efficiency, and serviceability
  • Provide product support to the BDM team on proposal development for CaaS offerings

Position Details

  • Location: This role is based out of the Ecolab office in Naperville, IL
  • 20% overnight travel required, including Global travel

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS or Master's degree in Mechanical or Chemical or Thermal Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in systems engineering, product development, preferably in thermal management or large industrial equipment
  • Strong proficiency in systems engineering
  • Proven experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration
  • Knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat exchanger design, and materials used in liquid cooling systems
  • Experience with data center infrastructure (CDU, CRAH/CRAC, heat exchangers, pump skids, controls).
  • Knowledge of AI-driven workload cooling requirements and sustainability metrics (PUE, WUE, TCO optimization).
  • Familiarity with ISO, ASHRAE, and environmental compliance standard

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $150,300.00 - $225,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentives based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
