Overview
Are you a customer-obsessed, AI-curious problem-solver who thrives in an inclusive, collaborative global team? Join Engineering Operations (EngOps) - the organization driving operational excellence across the Microsoft Cloud to strengthen quality, reliability, security, and customer trust. As part of EngOps, you'll design solutions that prevent issues before they happen, embed AI-powered automation, and turn signals into actions that deliver measurable customer impact. Our culture of empowerment, inclusion, and growth mindset defines how we work. Are you an experienced product leader looking for an opportunity to work on some of Azure's biggest challenges? We are the Engineering Operations (EngOps) team, and we are looking for a Principal Program Manager to join our team.
We sit within the Azure engineering organization and consider customer-facing operational experiences to be essential to the success of the cloud. Our mission is to reduce customer impact during platform events and empower customers with world-class, AI-driven action and guidance when they need clarity, action, or confidence. Our team builds the core experiences and platforms that shape how customers understand the state of their services, navigate issues, and make informed decisions.
We are now expanding our charter to bring Engineering Operations capabilities directly to third-party Azure customers through both Azure Portal and programmatic experiences, enabling them to benefit from the same operational insights and guidance used internally at Microsoft. This role will be central to defining and shaping that offering.
We are looking for a Principal PM to define and deliver a new customer-facing offering that brings EngOps capabilities directly to third-party Azure customers. You will unify and integrate existing Azure operational experiences and build a cohesive, AI-driven solution that scales across the Azure ecosystem. You will work across engineering, data science, marketing, and partner teams to shape the strategy, validate market fit, establish the business model, and drive the product from early pilots to global availability.
This is a high-impact role with visibility across Azure leadership.
