As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, security-related incidents, or irregularities observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with site management and law enforcement as needed during incidents or investigations.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with site access and provide guidance on security-related protocols.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or alarms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
