The internship opportunities will be available on several teams within the Public Affairs division and will last approximately 10 weeks.

The design intern will assist our senior design and multimedia team with visual asset creation (marketing campaigns, logo design, social media graphics, web layouts, photography, and other internal and external communication), also participate in brainstorming, preparing files for print or digital channels, and supporting marketing/branding efforts, requiring creativity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to learn the design lifecycle from concept to execution.

Key Activities

  • Assistin designing visual assets for digital (social media, websites, other digital channels) and print (brochures, presentations, collateral).

  • Create and edit images, logos, and visual elements using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). May also include taking photos.

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas for campaigns and projects.

  • Helpmaintainbrand consistency and adhere to brand guidelines.

  • Prepare design files for various platforms, ensuring technical specifications are met.

  • Support senior designers with project tasks, including mockups, file management, and client revisions.

  • Collaborate with Public Affairs communications team and other internal stakeholders to conceptualize ideas and translate them to final design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a graphic design or related program.

  • Proficiencyin Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Detail-oriented witha strong desireto learn.

  • Experience with video production

Pay Rate:

  • $21.00 per hour
