We're actively seeking a talented Senior Quality Assurance Analyst I to join our CMD Annuities Administration team in Omaha NE, Newport Beach, CA or Charlotte, NC.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst I you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by joining a dynamic group of Analysts, Developers and Product Owners while collaborating with other Technology teams. Your colleagues will include fellow technology professionals, and your role will include being responsible for ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing.

How you'll help move us forward:

  • Executing manual and exploratory testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage to drive proper delivery outcomes

  • Managing defect tracking, triaging, and resolution processes, working closely with development teams

  • Identifying and supporting opportunities for test automation development

  • Driving early and continuous testing throughout the software development lifecycle, adopting agile testing methodologies and ensuring early defect detection in the development lifecycle

  • Maintaining documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software

  • Analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action

  • Working independently and receiving moderate guidance

The experience you bring:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Analysis.

  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in manual testing, test case design, and defect management

  • Experience with CI/CD integration and DevOps practices

  • Proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

What makes you stand out:

  • Previous Annuities Industry experience

  • Previous experience with testing mainframe applications

  • Familiar with technologies like API's, Web Services, AI, Python, .NET

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$110,700.00 - $135,300.00
