DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position leads the quality and risk management efforts that support safe and effective operations at Selinsgrove Center. It oversees key programs, guides staff, and ensures compliance with state, federal, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) standards. As a Quality Assurance Risk Management Director, you will perform the following duties:
- Lead Quality and Risk Management Programs: Plan and direct interdisciplinary staff who monitor and evaluate quality and risk management activities
- Develop Standards: Create policies, procedures, and reports to ensure compliance with CMS and other regulatory requirements
- Coordinate Investigations: Oversee incident reviews, analyze reports, and recommend corrective actions for identified issues
- Advise Leadership: Support long-range planning by assisting directors with policies, goals, and improvement strategies
- Monitor Quality Activities: Review audits, evaluations, and satisfaction data to ensure services meet individual needs and expectations
- Guide Committees: Participate in meetings with clinical and non-clinical staff to support communication and decision making

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Travel and overtime as needed.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $77,379.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Coordinator (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience as a Quality Assurance/Risk Management Specialist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of professional experience as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team in a public or private healthcare facility, and a bachelor's degree; or
- Four years of clinical experience in a human services agency, including three years of professional, evaluative, consultative, or supervisory work in a healthcare program, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes four years of professional, evaluative, consultative, or supervisory work in a healthcare program.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
