As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and remain highly visible throughout the property. Your positive presence and strong communication skills will contribute to a welcoming environment as you provide customer service to tenants and visitors. This is a driving post, allowing you to play an active role in maintaining a secure atmosphere.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Remain observant and approachable while assisting tenants, visitors, and contractors with inquiries or directions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
