The College of Medicine, Department of Surgery at the University of Cincinnati is seeking an academic Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery as a multi-organ transplant surgeon for a full-time, non-tenure track position. This position joins an active faculty group and busy transplant program dedicated to a clinical practice supportingtransplant patients, oncology patients, patients needing vascular access for dialysis or hepatobiliary surgeries;resident teaching activities ofsurgery residents and fellows;andclinicalresearch. • Perform clinical duties in general surgery, solid organ transplant, and vascular access.
• The candidate will beexpected toparticipate in the operating room, ward teaching, and the advising and training of fellows, surgical residents, and medical students.
• Demonstrate a commitment to an academic career through research, teaching, and supporting the department's academic mission.
• Attend departmental and divisional meetings as relevant, to include participation in grand rounds and morbidity and mortality (M&M) review.

• MD/DO or equivalent
• Completion of afive-yearaccredited residency in Surgery
• Board eligible in General Surgery alone; andwith specialty training in Transplantation Surgery.
• Licensure by Ohio Medical Board is required by time of appointment
