Lead Impact. Strengthen Supply Chain Performance.

As a Project Manager for Materials Management, you'll lead cross functional Supply Chain projects from concept through rollout, delivering meaningful gains in customer satisfaction, productivity, and working capital. You'll drive lean practices, establish standard work, and motivate teams to turn complex initiatives into efficient, sustainable solutions.


What You'll do
  • Define best practices & identify opportunities for improvement in local team; inclusive of creating process documentation & preparing required training materials
  • Regularly engage with cross functional leadership within the region to identify and resolve operational challenges and complexities to drive savings and improved service
  • Responsible for ownership of team processes & development of training modules
  • Monitor utilization of and compliance of executed improvements; includes management of process change and system releases and rolling out training for new & exiting users
  • Support department LEAN upskilling to achieve results & produce business cases for changes with process excellence focus; provide mentorship to those seeking Lean Certifications & completing A3s
  • Effectively define, plan, and implement strategic roadmap projects that achieve company objectives, productivity standards, and cost controls by understanding and defining cross functional requirements, documenting processes, training and coaching others on implemented projects
  • Partner with team both in & Hilti wide to achieve cross-functional cohesiveness & communication
  • Lead local operational routines related to network rebalancing, obsolescence reduction, scrap, warehouse capacity support
  • Facilitate monthly department learning sessions during shopfloor meetings
  • Conduct annual/recurring Business Process Management (BPM) reviews; maintain & update Standard Work Instructions (SWI), inter company sales (ICS), & HAG returns, etc.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to define best practices; serve as subject matter expert for implementations aligned with global logistics strategy
  • Represent logistics program opportunities related to enterprise technology platform integration & implementation
  • Support, coach, and advise process users during training, system upgrades, and general usage
  • Additional duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Advanced degree and certifications (APICS, Project Management), preferred
  • Minimum five (5) years Supply Chain experience, with two (2) years in Project Management roles, required
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Competency Center level of 1B, highly preferred
  • High level of functional expertise regarding Supply Chain operations, processes, systems, and data with demonstrated ability to apply functional and system expertise to business requirements
  • Experience in data analytics, experience with MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and BI, required
  • Deep understanding of Materials Management trends, systems, and support tools (SAP, JDA/Blue Yonder, SharePoint), including the cross-functional impact of all systems
  • Demonstrated Materials Management knowledge; including: lot sizes, MOQs, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) logic, end-to-end processes, forecasting, backorder management, safety stock management, and master data topics
  • Detailed understanding of Hilti business processes including inventory management, & working knowledge of warehousing and transportation management, required
  • Demonstrated leadership in defining cross functional requirements and leading projects
  • Experience documenting processes and communicating change
  • Demonstrated coaching/training skills for mentoring others
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills to all external/internal customers, peer groups, and upper management
