Job Overview:

As a Production Manager you will oversee all manufacturing operations by leading production teams, allocating resources, and driving strategic execution to meet operational and customer demands, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. They uphold high standards for product quality, safety, and performance through strong leadership, coaching, and crossfunctional coordination. The role also champions continuous improvement and Lean initiatives, optimizing processes, productivity, and documentation to support datadriven operational decisionmaking.



Responsibilities:


  • Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to guarantee the production of foam products that meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within the production workflow.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions and drills to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Resource Management: Manage and optimize the use of production resources, including machinery, equipment, and personnel, to achieve production targets.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure a consistent and reliable supply chain.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Generate regular production reports, detailing key performance indicators, production outputs, and any deviations from set targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of production processes and procedures.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in foam manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes and quality control measures.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
