Qualifications

    Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering or related field. Equivalent experience in a construction-related position will also be considered.
  • 5 years of experience in land acquisition, right-of-way coordination, land liaison, or other applicable construction-related roles.
  • Ability to travel throughout the project site and in person meetings with landowners.
  • Strong understanding of right-of-way agreements, easements, and property access requirements.
  • Experience working with rural landowners, agricultural/livestock operations, and private property stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate construction activities and construction schedules to landowners.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting land access and construction.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple landowner relationships simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be well organized and able to read construction plans and specifications.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the construction team and project landowners.
  • Document landowner communications, access permissions, and issue resolutions with Owner and Project Team.
  • As required, arrange and participate in meetings with landowners in person.
  • Coordinate land access, temporary workspace, and right-of-way use for construction activities.
  • Communicate construction schedules, work activities, and restoration plans to landowners.
  • Address landowner concerns, questions, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to minimize land impacts.
  • Assist with damage assessments and coordinate repairs or compensation as required.
