As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the assigned shelter location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with residents and visitors, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at the shelter location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting shelter staff and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the shelter facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points to help to maintain a secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with shelter personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports and logs as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
