Job Description




As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Lead in Warrensville Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure and welcoming atmosphere in the healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify potential issues, with attention to the unique needs of a healthcare setting.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns, documenting incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas, verifying identification, and monitoring visitor flow as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Support emergency response efforts, such as assisting with evacuations or providing guidance during medical emergencies, while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel as needed, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of vaccination is required for this hospital client.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
