Security Officer - Financial Patrol Full Time

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrol in Tysons Corner, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment. Your presence and exceptional customer service will support a sense of comfort for staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in a financial institution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.
• Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security-related matters as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
