Your Opportunity:

TechSource is seeking a Program Analyst to support the DOE/NNSA Office of Defense Programs (NA-10) in Washington, DC. You will provide analytical, coordination, and program support to Defense Programs leadership and contributes to Nuclear Weapons Council (NWC)-related activities and interagency processes.

You will use your strong foundation in national security programs to expand your opportunity and impact. You will work closely with experienced senior staff in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. You will work on-site daily at the DOE Forrestal Building, located in Washington, DC.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Provide program analysis supporting DOE/NNSA Defense Programs activities related to nuclear weapons and deterrence.

* Support Nuclear Weapons Council-related processes, including preparation of briefings, issue papers, and tracking of action items.

* Assist in managing a portfolio of policy and program activities, helping ensure alignment across schedules, priorities, and risk considerations.

* Research, draft, and review written products such as:

o Briefing materials and talking points

o Issue papers and decision-support memoranda

o Congressional correspondence and responses

o Interagency coordination materials

* Translate complex technical and programmatic information into clear, well-organized products for senior leaders and external stakeholders.

* Coordinate with counterparts across NNSA, the Department of Defense (DoD), the Department of State, Nuclear Security Council staff, and other interagency organizations.

* Monitor national security guidance and the strategic environment relevant to the nuclear weapons enterprise and identify emerging issues for senior staff awareness.

* Support senior leader engagements with Congress and other external stakeholders by preparing background materials and responses.

  • Active DOE Q or DoD Top Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree preferred.
  • 8 years of work experience, including 5 or more years of experience supporting DOE/NNSA, DoD, or interagency national security programs.
  • Familiarity with nuclear weapons policy, programs, or governance structures, including Nuclear Weapons Council-related activities.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-tempo environment.
