As a Prototype Build Coordinator, you'll oversee the timing, materials, and workflow for cutting-edge propulsion system builds, ensuring engineering projects move seamlessly from concept to test-ready prototypes. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role perfect for someone who thrives in precision-driven environments and enjoys making complex processes run like clockwork.

Hours & Pay

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (1st shift, occasional overtime available)
• Compensation: $44.17 per hour
• Location: 100% onsite, no travel required

What You'll Do Every Day

• Adjust build schedules based on material and engine availability to meet project timelines
• Generate and maintain accurate PDB Master BOMs from EBOM and submit for sign-off
• Maintain propulsion system build BOMs in PDS for accuracy
• Prioritize builds through Sci-Labs and coordinate updates, failures, or post-test engine modifications
• Create Work Orders for builds, machining requests, and material pulls based on engineering needs
• Track and tag material for short- and long-term storage
• Chair weekly build and test planning meetings
• Manage all internal and external material movements including shippers, gate passes, and move requests
• Recommend best practices for issue resolution and process improvements

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Logistics
• 10+ years of automotive industry experience
• Experience with PDS and JTETSO systems
• Microsoft Project experience
