Job Description:

  • Design, Develop, unit test and deploy new business functionality and enhancements to existing Salesforce.com platform.

  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning Aura Components, Lightning Web Components, Apex, Javascript, Visualforce, Flows, Process Builder, Web Services and Batch Jobs.

  • Should be good at code coverage using test classes.

  • Proficient with SOQL, and/or SQL.

  • Experience in Service Cloud and Salesforce Communities a plus.

  • Salesforce certifications preferred: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, or Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, or similar.

  • Experience in SFDC Administrative tasks like creating Users, Roles, Profiles, Page Layouts, Email Services, Workflows, Validation rules, Reports, Dashboards.

  • Perform analysis, debugging and trouble-shooting issues.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall projects, and all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, coding, unit testing, integration, user acceptance testing, maintenance.

Requirements/Qualifications:

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. 2-3 years of combined work experience as a developer with at least 2 years of experience working with Salesforce.com customizations and development.

Problem Solving

The candidate must have the ability to think outside the box and should be capable of performing analysis to resolve complex issues.

Verbal/Written Communication

The candidate must have strong language (verbal and written communication) skills. Candidate must be able to contribute in group meetings, provide project updates, write technical documents.

Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with internal business customers, co-workers, managers and the development team (on-shore and off-shore).

Teamwork and Culture

The candidate must be culturally compatible with Microchip's value-based structure and style and must have a good work ethic in a collaborative environment. Candidate needs to be proactive, customer-oriented and be able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.
