Responsibilities

The Signal Conditioning and Subsystems section in Keysight Labs produces leading analog and mm-wave frontends (ICs + Modules) that address variety of market applications (5G, Automotive Radar, Aerospace/Defense) partnering with our Centers of Excellence and various Solutions Groups. This critical position has an opportunity to shape Keysight's future product architectures and impact the world around us by defining and planning for new MMIC needs.

We have an opportunity for a NCI (New Chip Introduction) TPM to join our team. Candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Meet on a quarterly basis with COE and IST project managers and planners to capture technical requirements of future products (ICs) and the expected technical and financial benefits of those products.
  • Compare project requests to commercial next-best alternatives and understand the tradeoffs in cost, performance, and availability timelines.
  • Make investment proposals to Labs management based on the requests received and above tradeoff analysis done.
  • Market new IC and module parts to customer groups to ensure leverage across product lines to maximize ROI for Labs developed parts
  • Track R&D part demand from customer groups for NPIs in progress and ensure R&D part supply is greater than demand working closely with internal or external fabrication houses.
  • Uses customer applications knowledge to determine, define, develop and validate product concepts.
  • Participates in strategic planning to define technical direction to reach new business objectives.
  • Product support for modules and ICs under development for sale outside of Keysight. This includes: Requirements capture working closely with the external customer, scheduling support working closely with the fabrication teams, technical support working closely with the design team.

Core Qualifications

A successful candidate should enjoy technical challenges, demonstrate leadership, work autonomously, be highly motivated, take initiative to proactively solve problems, be adept at creating a plan then executing to that plan, and exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be successful in a high-energy, fast-paced, and fun environment.

  • B.S. or M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field is required with at least 2-4 years or relevant experience in project management for new products and new technologies
  • Candidate must possess a solid understanding of analog and mm-wave IC Design and related packaging technologies
  • Experience in communicating program progress and status to customer/partner divisions and instilling customer confidence
  • Broad knowledge of electronic systems and integrated circuits, especially high-frequency analog systems and ICs
  • General knowledge of the workings of a semiconductor foundry especially HFTC.
  • Financial acumen - translating technical specifications into financial benefits, understanding discounted cash flows and net present value calculations
  • Make decisions logically, take initiative, drive to results, work as a team

Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Santa Rosa, CA

California Pay Range: MIN $153,090 - MIDPT $204,120 MAX $255,150

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region.
