What you'll be doing... Your IMPACT!



  • Inspects and services of electrical equipment during overhaul to ensure safe operations and prevent future breakdowns.
  • Track, schedule, and perform preventive maintenance on any electrical vessel system.
  • Research and order parts for repairs while maintaining proper inventory to support emergency repairs.
  • Complete service calls on vessels to make required repairs as needed.
  • Work with maintenance crew, vendor, and vessel crew when needed to complete repairs such as electrical, plumbing, or mechanical repairs.
  • Advises leadership and boat crew of technical information and electrical guidelines to ensure safe and effective operations.
  • Document all work performed in the maintenance database.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


What we are looking for...

You will need to have:



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • 5+ years marine electrical maintenance experience and repair of associated equipment
  • Ability to acquire TWIC
  • Ability to be on-call weekends and nights during assigned weeks
  • Ability to occasionally travel overnight
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen


Even better if you have the following:



  • Prior towboat troubleshooting and repair experience
  • Electrician Certification/License
  • Experience working aboard boats
