Purpose of the Job


The Senior Production Manager will work alongside the Account Director to ensure solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets. This individual also needs to be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategies of the account while managing the tactical components of running the daily business. Balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans. The perfect candidate will have either senior agency experience and production management experience with a proven track record for delivering client solutions and nurturing relationships.



Key Responsibilities



  • Gather project requirements and manage all production aspects on behalf of the client services team.
  • Work with vendors on delivery timetables and maintain an updated status of assigned projects.
  • Input all project specifications and relevant data into an internal procurement system and maintain key data points in the system, including purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Execute projects within contract-specified timelines, according to budget requirements and quality standards.
  • Build relationships and communication channels with suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and handoffs.
  • Liaison between internal and external stakeholders, agencies, and suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery within budget.
  • Execute production efficiently in accordance with the procedures described in business processes.
  • Identify and develop programmatic solutions, which are both beneficial and economical for the client and HHG.
  • Media and discipline neutral, the Senior Production Manager proactively finds opportunity by looking for the best way of maximising delivery for the brand and driving this opportunity with our Clients.
  • Working with internal studio and strategic suppliers to deliver the best solutions. The Senior Production Manager will have the ability to influence client thinking to produce outstanding results.
  • Our ideal candidate will also have an intuitive understanding of agency operations and be able to direct strategy and work with the teams.
  • Attending WIPs and meetings and taking / influencing key briefs from clients showing a clear understanding of requirements and cascade to local teams globally.
  • Deliver excellent service to client with a professional 'can do' attitude at all times.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key contacts.
  • Providing technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standards



Knowledge, Skills + Experience



  • 5+ years of experience with beverage clients.
  • Strong Client Service experience and has built credible customer relationships at senior level.
  • Sound financial reporting and forecasting experience.
  • Good understanding of Marketing Services concepts
  • Naturally builds and maintains rapport with the client.
  • Comfortable analyzing and interpreting financial data and produces accurate reports.
  • Works collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals.
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Takes a logical and systematic approach to work.
  • Takes a flexible approach to work and encourages others to do so.
  • Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to understand current/changing business strategy and participate in delivering it/
  • Can identify business issues and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, ability to present convincingly to a senior audience.
  • Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills.

For U.S based applicants: The US base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in cost of labor. The total compensation for this package includes an annual performance bonus target in addition to base salary.
