POSITION SCOPE

The Construction Purchasing Administrative Assistant has expertise in Microsoft Office Applications. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and the flexibility to assist the team with day-to-day tasks. Specifically, we need someone who can organize and help coordinate both physical samples and digital documents, as well as create spreadsheets and reports and provide a high level of communication and coordination. This is an opportunity for someone to use their existing knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and organizational skills and grow their experience and knowledge. Construction Purchasing Administrative Assistant is a multi-faceted position with the opportunity for growth.

PRIMARY DUTIES




  • Communication and coordination with various stakeholders (Architects, designers, Leadership) on a large construction project.
  • Creating Spreadsheets and reports.
  • Document and material sample organization.
  • Assisting with obtaining material quotes and lead times with provided specifications as requested
  • Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders when required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned



REQUIREMENTS



  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Strong Organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Thrives working in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-Motivated, who will work with a group when needed
