Job Description: Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) is seeking a part-time Senior Materials Engineer to support our customer at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, VA. This position is part of the Research, Science and Engineering (RSES) contract. The hourly rate for this position will be $47-$62 commensurate with education and experience. The successful applicant will support the characterization, analysis, databasing, and validation of continuous fiber reinforced ceramic matrix composite properties required for design of refractory composite hot structures with application to reusable hypersonic vehicles.
