Security Officer - Access Control Financial

As a Security Officer - Access Control Financial in Highlands Ranch, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter security-related threats or breaches.
• Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or equipment malfunctions in accordance with company policy.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related risks at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
