As a Security Professional - Distribution Access Control in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support a positive atmosphere for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Manage access control procedures at designated entry and exit points within the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and/or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing questions and offering assistance as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor security-related systems and equipment to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify any potential concerns.
• Document observations and incidents in detailed reports according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with site management and Allied Universal supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
