As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver Tech/Media in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic tech and media location. By maintaining a visible presence, you help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to maintain authorized access within the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site procedures.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including providing directions and support during drills or actual emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
