Business Analyst (Hybrid position located in Washington DC) Ellumen, a three-time Top Workplace honoree by the Washington Post, is a dynamic IT business headquartered in Silver Spring, MD. We specialize in providing a broad range of information technology and related services to both government and commercial customers. Ellumen is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support an upcoming Training Modernization Initiative by bridging communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. The role ensures that redesigned workflows and systems meet organizational needs and drive measurable improvements. Position Summary The Business Analyst will elicit and document requirements, analyze business processes, and support change management activities to facilitate the successful transition to digital and optimized workflows. Major Duties and Responsibilities Elicit and document business requirements and current-state processes. Develop process maps, user stories, and use cases for new workflows. Support change management planning, communications, and training documentation. Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders. Ensure deliverables align with Metro's modernization and operational goals. Minimum Qualifications US Citizen with the ability to obtain clearance (active clearance preferred) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field 3+ years of business analysis and process documentation experience Strong analytical, communication, and facilitation skills Experience with requirements gathering and stakeholder management
