Intern -Test

The intern in Test under general supervision, learn to perform
assigned tasks to test electronic assemblies to specifications using
schematics, process sheets and required standard and/or special purpose test
equipment.

Job Summary

  • Learn Perform variety of tasks to ensure production quality standards are met.
  • Troubleshoot units under test, recognize failures and. communicate failures to Test Technician.
  • Operate Automatic Circuit Analyzer/ DITMCO and automated test stations.
  • Construct test set-ups, interfaces to Unit Under Test (UUT), test fixtures, and other test aids.
  • Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in reading and applying information from wiring lists, wiring schematics, process sheets and procedures preferred.
  • Basic computer skills; ability to open programs and input data.
  • Ability to follow written procedures.
  • Understanding of electrical safety.
  • Ability to learn on the job
    training skills as it relates to Digital Multimeters and Power Supplies
  • Basic computer operating skills
  • Regular attendance
  • Excellent attention to detail

Required Experience and Education

  • Must be currently enrolled in a high school or college internship program

Other Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. Person
  • Ability to successfully pass background and drug screen processes
