The actuarial team creates, maintains and updates pricing models for underwriters to utilize; creates reserving estimates for all lines of business and assists with financial- and claims-related items, helping the organization to succeed using our insurance expertise. We aim to improve practices and efficiency across the organization, while using data to the fullest potential to gain insights that help our underwriting and management teams meet our goals. Role Description: As an Actuarial Analyst III - Pricing, you'll take on a critical role assisting in building, improving, and maintaining pricing models for our direct lines of business. As a remote employee, you'll be expected to work independently with minimal supervision collaborating with departments across the organization including Underwriting and IT to ensure models are functioning as intended, that data is captured seamlessly in online data tables, and that pricing methods follow actuarial standards of practice and company policies. It's also expected the position will help build reports and dashboards to provide insights to Management and other Departments and to ensure company is achieving company goals. This role is ideal for an actuarial professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to make data-driven contributions that shape pricing strategy and company performance.
