Description A security technician installs, maintains, and repairs security systems like CCTV, access control, and alarms for residential or commercial clients. Key skills include a strong understanding of electronic security systems, physical security protocols, and troubleshooting abilities. Familiarity with systems such as Genetec Lenel Softwarehouse and DMP is a plus Skills access control, CCTV, Alarm systems, Security, Install, Alarms, Service, Alarm installation, Troubleshooting, Cable Top Skills Details access control,CCTV,Alarm systems Additional Skills & Qualifications Installing and servicing electronic security systems, including alarm, access control, and CCTV systems. Performing maintenance and repairs on security equipment. Troubleshooting system issues and performing necessary modifications. Ensuring installations comply with codes and regulations. Providing basic network knowledge to integrate systems Technical Skills: Solid understanding of electronic security systems and physical security protocols. Familiarity with installation tools, access control software, CCTV, and alarm monitoring platforms. Basic IT and networking knowledge is often needed. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential. Certifications: While not always mandatory, certifications can significantly enhance job prospects. Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
