Description Candidates local to Columbus, OH preferred but will consider 100% remote candidates that meet all top skills. We are seeking a Data Analyst to support a major bank integration project. This strategic role focuses on leveraging data to enhance customer experience, communication, and retention during a merger. You will work closely with Marketing, IT, and Integration teams to ensure regulatory notifications and personalized customer journeys are delivered effectively. Top Skills Required: * Strong experience with SAS, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Financial Services. * Experience with AWS, Snowflake, and Machine Learning * Expertise in data analysis, mapping, and audience segmentation. * Ability to manage large-scale experimentation and build data-driven models to answer business questions Key Responsibilities: * Analyze and wrangle newly acquired customer data to identify target audiences for communications. * Apply advanced analytics and modeling techniques to meet regulatory requirements and business objectives. * Collaborate with stakeholders to create highly customized communication strategies. * Drive data-driven decision-making and evangelize best practices across teams. Additional Skills & Qualifications Up-to-date knowledge of machine learning and data analytics tools and techniques Experience with financial services M&A transactions, preferably through audience targeting, or marketing Experienced at leveraging both structured and unstructured data sources Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines Strategic, intellectually curious thinker with focus on outcomes Professional persona with the ability to form relationships across functions Strong experience with SAS (preferred), R/RStudio or Python are also beneficial Strong experience querying complex finance service data utilizing SQL Experience with Cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) Strong understanding of statistical methods and skills such as Bayesian Networks Inference, linear and non-linear regression, hierarchical, mixed models/multi-level modeling Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
