Summary:

In this role, you will serve as the senior financial leader to a major Vizient business segment (e.g., Spend Management) and report to Vizient's VP, Finance. You will oversee the financial operations of the business segment and support development of the business segment's strategy based on a broad analysis of operational and product performance, industry dynamics, macro-economic trends and competitor landscape. Serve as liaison to other Vizient business segments and corporate functions such as corporate finance, accounting, corporate strategy, sales and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the general financial performance of the business segment including setting direction, financial strategy, projections, and growth plans for the business segment.

  • Lead the business segment's finance team.

  • Advise the business segment leader and executive management team on long-term business and financial planning.

  • Develop and execute the business segment's financial strategy.

  • Manage the financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial leadership for mergers and acquisitions.

  • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate potential financial risks for the business segment.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field desired. Master's degree preferred.

  • 10 or more years of progressive experience in finance or accounting required.

  • Experience with financial annual and long-term planning in the managed services space required, preferably in healthcare or consulting.

  • Proven experience managing complex budgets, financial analysis, and reporting in a large, matrixed organization desired.

  • Deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and performance measurement.

  • Proficiency with ERP and financial systems desired.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.

  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively across executive teams.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
