The growth contributes to a fast-paced environment, and we are searching for a candidate who works well with this pace and has the flexibility and agility to move from one project to the next. The Graphic Designer is an integral part of the School of Art communications team collaboratively working to deliver marketing, creative services, web administration, and visual content designed to propel art education and research. This position will be responsible for multimedia content creation, production, and distribution to a wide range of audiences, including students, faculty staff, alumni, donors, local and regional communities, and artists, designers, and art scholars worldwide. This position requires elements of creative leadership, project management, and technical expertise to ensure content aligns with branding, objectives, and targeted audiences. In this role, the designer will use innovation, imagination, originality, and skills to take projects from concept to delivery. They will develop print and digital materials including banners, ads, publications, digital content, web design, and social media content. In collaboration with Assistant Director Communications, they will manage and execute website and social media platforms. Participate in project assessment and meetings, present to key stakeholders, manage School of Art graphic design interns, and all other duties as assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
