Department Overview

The Compliance Strategy and Governance department in Ethics, Risk, and Compliance sets and manages the compliance management standards and framework for the company. This includes providing governance, oversight, and tools to enable PG&E departments and coworkers to conduct business in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and to effectively manage compliance risk. Functional responsibilities of the team related to enterprise-wide ethics and compliance management include strategic development, standards development, support for all Functional Areas, oversight and validation, enterprise-level IT tool ownership, and enterprise governance and reporting. The department also partners with the Ethics and Risk teams to promote a culture of compliance and ethics where employees are enabled and inspired to act with integrity, speak up to raise concerns andcomply withall legal and regulatory requirements, and mitigate risk.

Position Summary

The Risk and Compliance Expert Analystprovideskey support to enterprise Compliance program development, activities, management, and team members. He/she willassistwith activities designed to increase the maturity of compliance programs and improve compliance performance across the enterprise.

The role is in theCompliance Strategy and Governanceteam, whose work includes enterprise compliance program strategy, development,validation,Functional Area support,and reporting, in addition to a variety of compliance management and performance initiatives. The role supports the team's effort to provide innovative solutions thatbenefitenterprise-widestakeholders andestablishingcompliance-specific policies and standards, supportfor all Functional Areas.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need.

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of thejob posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, and geographic location.The decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

A Reasonable Salary Range:

Bay Area - $118,000-$168,300

Job Responsibilities

TheRisk and ComplianceExpertAnalystwillreporttotheManagerManager, Compliance andwill primarilyhold the following responsibilities:

Acting in a consultative capacity as a business partner and risk and compliance expert to Functional Areas;

Understanding the general business environment and associated risks and compliance requirements of the enterprise;

Supporting Functional Area efforts toidentifyand assess organizational compliance requirements and risks;

Developing effective controls and metrics, evaluating control deficiencies, supporting the design of mitigating activities, and helping tofacilitateand publish policies and standards in line with complianceobjectivesand/orestablishedrisk management protocols;

Developing and/or applying innovative tools and solutions to support compliance programs and enterprise-wide initiatives, with a focus on how the compliance management system can help solve challenges and improve efficiency;

Helping drive continuous improvement in complianceprogram; consistentlydemonstratinginnovative new thinking focused on compliance strategy,performanceand implementation.

  • Examining alternate solutions to compliance issues and effectively troubleshooting various problems;

  • Assistingall levels of leadership across functions to support strategic planning and influence decisions around compliance issues;

  • Supporting development of materials for educating employees and leaders to support organization-wide awareness of ethics and compliance best practices;

  • Leveraging contacts within and beyond the Company to pressure-test and refine compliance solutions;

  • Effectively building formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside of the organization;

  • Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences;

  • Demonstrating a full understanding of regulatory policy and compliance concepts.

Qualifications

Minimum

---------------------------

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience inManagement, Business, Finance,BehavioralSciences, Risk, Compliance or relateddiscipline, or equivalent experience

  • 7years of relevant business experience, such as risk and compliance management,orrelated fieldor equivalent experience

  • CertifiedComplianceand Ethics Professionalcertification, or equivalent;

  • Familiarity with the MetricStream compliance management system or other, similar, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions.
