What you'll do
As the Payroll Analyst based at our Novi, MI office, you'll enjoy maintaining and supporting payroll processes for the company and partnering cross-functionally to perform payroll audits and prevent errors before they are processed.
In addition, you'll play a key role in resolving payroll challenges and facilitating the effective functioning of our payroll operations, demonstrating our steadfast commitment to exceptional employee compensation management.
You will also:
- Maintain payroll-related data, such as W-4 changes, garnishments, and child support
- Process payroll and maintain payroll information
- Prepare and maintain payroll records and reports
- Review timesheets and troubleshoot payroll issues
- Partner cross-functionally to answer questions and resolve issues
- Generate and distribute general ledger reports
- Prepare manual checks when necessary
- Create ad-hoc payroll reports
- Manage the payroll inbox and process incoming payroll mail
- Assist with the development of payroll practices, policies, and procedures
- Support payroll related projects and assist with other tasks as assigned

What you need to be successful
- Three or more (3+) years of payroll processing experience
- Expertise in processing multiple payrolls with multiple frequencies
- Strong understanding of payroll and tax calculations
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience using UKG Dimensions or similar system (Preferred)
