Employment Manager, Human Resources

Location: Milliken - Pine Mountain Plant, Pine Mountain, GA
Full-Time | On-Site | Growth Opportunity

About the Role
Milliken is seeking a dynamic and driven Employment Manager, Human Resources to join our team at the Pine Mountain Plant in Pine Mountain, GA. This is a developmental role designed to prepare the successful candidate for future advancement into a Manager, Human Resources position.

You'll work closely with the regions Sr. HR Manager to support and lead key HR functions, drive employee engagement, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment law. This role requires strong communication skills, a hands-on approach, and a passion for people development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of people management excellence across the plant
  • Administer core HR functions including:
  • Policy and procedure compliance
  • Benefits and salary administration
  • Safety and workers' compensation
  • FMLA and leave management
  • Lead the full-cycle talent acquisition process: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing
  • Coordinate associate education enrollments and support skills development initiatives
  • Facilitate Continuous Skills Development Pillar meetings
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Sr. HR Manager and plant leadership
  • Lead special HR projects and initiatives
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of employment law and benefits administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years' Human Resource experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP
  • PHR certification
