OCC HEALTH SAFETY CLINIC PAV L Job Summary

Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions, particularly those related to the spine. Perform non-invasive techniques such as spinal adjustments, manipulations, and other therapies to relieve pain and improve the function of the musculoskeletal system.

Essential Functions:
  • Evaluate patients:
    Evaluate patients' medical histories and conduct physical exams to determine the nature and extent of their condition. (20%)
  • Develop treatment plans:
    Based on the evaluation, develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs. These may include spinal adjustments, therapeutic exercises, and other therapies. (20%)
  • Perform spinal adjustments:
    Manipulate the spine and other joints in the body to improve alignment and relieve pain. (20%)
  • Provide lifestyle advice:
    In addition to treatment, may provide advice on healthy lifestyle choices, including exercise, diet, and stress management, to help patients maintain their musculoskeletal health. (20%)
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals:
    Work with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and medical doctors, to provide comprehensive care to patients. (10%)
  • Maintain patient records:
    Maintain detailed records of patients' medical histories, diagnoses, and treatment plans to ensure high-quality care. (10%)
  • Participates in clinical education of healthcare students as seen fit by supervising medical staff. (0%)
