NDT Technician

Pay: $25-$27/hr | Shift: 3pm-11pm | Location: Oceaneering, 11915 FM 529, Houston, TX (100% onsite) Required: Steel toe boots & safety glasses

Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on fabricated parts using ultrasonic, magnetic particle, penetrant, or radiographic methods. Calibrate equipment, interpret results against specs, record data, and report findings with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT inspections & verify parts to acceptance criteria
• Read blueprints, interpret tolerances, and compare test results
• Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment
• Document results and collaborate with QC, engineering, and production
• Train junior techs and support procedure improvements
• Follow HSE and quality programs; participate in safety initiatives

Required

• 2+ years NDT experience (UT, MT, PT, RT)
• ASNT Level II certification preferred
• Ability to work independently and solve routine technical issues
• Strong communication and blueprint reading skills
• Proficient in English
