Status: This is a full-time; salaried position

Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

JOB SUMMARY: JOB SUMMARY: The Financial Services Manager is responsible for overseeing key financial operations including the administration of sales and vendor contracts, accounts receivable collections, and management of company-owned land and real estate assets. This role requires strong negotiation skills, legal coordination, and financial acumen to ensure compliance, optimize agreements, and support operational needs. The manager also plays a critical role in acquiring and maintaining bonds related to company operations, including environmental reclamation obligations.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Contract Administration & Vendor Relationships

  • Develop and maintain standard agreement terms for sales and vendor contracts.
  • Negotiate contract modifications and ensure alignment with company policies.
  • Manage a variety of other agreements including:
  • Hold Harmless Agreements
  • Equipment Usage Agreements
  • Third-party Service Contracts


Accounts Receivable Oversight


  • Lead and manage the AR collection team to ensure timely and effective recovery of outstanding balances.
  • Engage with external legal counsel to pursue delinquent accounts and enforce collection actions.
  • Monitor AR aging reports and implement strategies to reduce overdue balances.
  • Develop and deliver regular reporting on AR performance, delinquency trends, recovery efforts, and legal actions.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to improve cash flow and mitigate financial risk.


Real Estate & Land Management


  • Oversee company-owned land and real estate assets, including leases, royalty agreements, and third-party contracts.
  • Manage invoicing and collection activities related to land use, lease payments, royalties, and other property-related income.
  • Ensure all properties are properly secured and maintained in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor the operation's scrap sales activities and ensure proper documentation, tracking, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Work with legal and operational teams on property acquisitions, disposals, and lease negotiations.


Bond Acquisition & Management


  • Assess operational needs to determine bonding requirements across departments.
  • Acquire and maintain appropriate bonds, including performance, payment, and environmental reclamation bonds.
  • Work closely with the environmental team to ensure compliance with reclamation plans for quarry operations.



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, contract administration, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of legal and financial principles related to contracts, collections, and property management.
  • Experience working with external legal teams and environmental compliance is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.



PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of environmental bonding and reclamation regulations.
  • Familiarity with land use agreements, mineral rights, and royalty structures.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and external partnerships.
