Role and Responsibilities

In the role of Microscopy Specialist, you use your expertise to support our business line in San Diego. You collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure the highest standards in microscopy analysis and imaging. You contribute to the delivery of solutions that meet the needs of our customers and partners.

  • SEM/EDX Operation
  • Conduct optical microscopy imaging and analysis for research and production tasks.
  • Maintain and calibrate microscopy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Support cross-functional teams with technical insights and training.
  • Document findings and prepare clear reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot imaging challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Promote safety and quality standards in all microscopy activities.
  • Stay informed about new developments in microscopy technology.
Education and Experience

You hold at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as physics, materials science, engineering, or a related discipline, and at least two years of hands-on lab experience . Experienced SEM/EDX Operator. You have experience working in microscopy, preferably in a high-tech or semiconductor environment. Familiarity with digital imaging tools and laboratory procedures is important (Optical Microscope Expert). You are comfortable working in an international team and can communicate your findings clearly, with experience interpreting and reporting on data collected.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:

$80,250-133,750

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
