The Procurement Excellence Center (PEC) is a strategic function dedicated todriving procurement transformation, operational efficiency, and value creation across the organization.Within the Procurementorganization, thePECestablishesbest practices, standardizes processes, andleveragesadvanced analytics and market intelligence to enable data-driven decision-making.ThePECcollaborates withall Procurement teamsto enhance capabilities, improve performance, andoptimizecosts. Key focus areas include market intelligence and analytics, digital procurement transformation, risk management,supplier relationship management, governance, and capability development.

Position Summary

The Procurement Services Master Data role plays a key role in supporting the integrity, accuracy, and governance of procurement-related master data. This individual contributor is responsible for supporting the maintenance and improvement of data quality, supporting the optimization of data processes, and supporting procurement transformation initiatives through effective data management.

This individualcollaborates with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, IT,and Supply Chain, tosupportenforcement ofdata governance policies,supportautomation, and enhance reporting capabilities. This role requiresexperiencein data management, strong analytical skills, andsupportingprocurement efficiency and decision-making.Key responsibilities includecreation, maintenance, and governance ofprocurementmaster data while ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has abackground indata management,andexperienceindata governance frameworks, data quality management, and process automation.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned workheadquarters.

PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of thejob posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, and geographic location.The decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $37.50 to $51.29.

Reporting Relationship

The Procurement Services Master Data role will report to the Manager of Procurement Services Master Data.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supportsthe creation, maintenance, and governance of procurement master data, including vendor, material, contract, and pricing data.

  • Provides support for questions, issues, and problems for an assigned dataset.

  • Measuresand monitorsdata management maturity for an assigned dataset.

  • CollaborateswithProcurementSMEs to define metadata for subject data components.

  • Identifiesdata accuracy issues and associated business process weaknesses.

  • Executespolicies and standardsestablishedby the data governance program.

  • Maintainsanddemonstratesstrongunderstanding of data standards and policies.

  • Analyzesdata that does not align with requirements andrecommendcorrective actions.

  • Activelyparticipatesin the organization's data governance processes,toolsand programs.

Background Qualifications

Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS.

  • 2years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality, reference (master) data management, and/or designing and implementing functional systems and data in a structured process.

Desired

  • Knowledge of datamanagementbest practices, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards(e.g., SOX).

  • Strongverbal and written communication skills.

  • Stronganalytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

  • Understandingofdatagovernancelandscape, processes, and design principles.
