HVAC Technician - Apprentice

Description:

• Installs heating and air-conditioning systems, including water heaters
• Interprets blueprints and schematics to map layout and sizing for airflow routing
• Runs high and low volt wiring in unit
• Cuts in and hooks up diffusers and thermostats
• Ductwork installation

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 2 years HVAC Experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use a Voltmeter and other gauges
• Able to stand 10hrs/day
• Able to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
• Able to perform repetitive tasks; high physical activity
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, twist, climb and/or crawl
• Able to use ladders
• Able to communicate (read, write, speak, listen and understand work instructions)
• Able to pass pre-employment screening
