Position Title:PRN/On Call Tutor - Nurse

Position Summary:
Provides academic support to nursing students enrolled in courses focused on caring for patients with complex acute and chronic conditions. Reinforces evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and ethical decision-making in the acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor students individually or in small groups to enhance understanding of complex nursing concepts and clinical reasoning.

• Support application of evidence-based practice and sound nursing judgment in acute and chronic care.

• Collaborate with faculty to align tutoring with course content and learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

• BSN required; MSN preferred.

• Current, unencumbered RN license.

• Recent acute or critical care experience.

• Prior teaching, precepting, or tutoring experience preferred.

Schedule:

• On-call, flexible hours based on student and course needs.
